The outstanding individuals listed here risked their lives, many repeatedly, to perform or organize clandestine concerts, and/or publish, collect, teach or study anything regarding Chopin and other Polish composers during the Nazi occupation of Poland. This is only the beginning: There will undoubtedly be many more discoveries!
